I set out to make a superior product to that of what you get at the "Big Box" stores. I want this product to last you as this this is an investment in your apiary journey.
The Premium Hive products use D-grade Yellow Pine (this has very few knots and imperfections). For our Common Hives we use common pine (this has knots running through the grain and can be course).
The Select Products use select grade pine which shows almost no imperfections and very minimal knots if any through the grain. I source my Premium Line from a local family owned lumber yard.
If for any reason you have an issue with a product I want to know about it! I will work with you to make it right. All products will come unfinished. Proper coating and maintenance must be applied for outdoor conditions.
